Alright, enough with the head swelling. If you’re wondering who the heck I am & what the heck a Creative Career Coach does, anyway, keep on reading.
Who the Heck I Am / Why the Heck I’m Here
I was born a poor black child…Wait. That wasn’t me. That was The Jerk. I was born a middle-class Jewish child in New York City, but for some reason my parents whisked me away to their home in Long Island, despite my tears and wails. Thankfully, I found my way back to New York City in 1996, when I started studying for my BFA in musical theater at NYU/Tisch School of the Arts. Subsequently, I performed on TV, at sea, in short films, regionally, and in New York City. After 8 years of pounding (my head against) the pavement, I admitted that I loathed the business of show more than I enjoyed my performing opportunities, and started studying at the International Coach Academy. I’ve since been certified as a professional life coach, and as a Creative Career Coach, I’m able to help others discover how they can stop pounding (their heads against) the pavement and find a new path that’s all their own.
Is that bio too boring for you? Do you want the laughter, the tears, the romance and the drama? To learn more about where I started, where I landed, and all the times in between, you can read my bio or some of my more personal blog entries, like The Story of my Life, or Why I Stopped Pounding (My Head Against) the Pavement and I’m OK. You’re OK. Sharing is Caring. And Other Such Hooplah. If you want to know more about Michelle, The Person, like where I live and who with and my dreams and hopes and favorite food, then you can read When I Grow Up: Behind the Blog or Six Things That Make Me Happy.

My Twyle (that’s the combo of “twitter” = “style”)
I currently have a 99% rating on Twitter Grader, which means I’m a gabber. Yes, you will get a bunch of updates from me (there’s a reason I call Twitter “my boyfriend”), but I promise you I ain’t tweeting about waking up, going to sleep, what I’m eating, or “what up?”-ing my homeys. Tweet or DM me & you’ll get a response. Follow me & I’ll most likely follow you back (except if you’re a spammer, you’re private, you have no tweets on your page, you only talk to yourself, or your page consists of the things I mention above that are bor-ing). I’m a quirky, fun, enthusiastic chick, so expect a lot of exclamation points & lots of “holy crapballs!” & other such phrases. I link to posts/articles/videos that have to do with creatives, careers, creative careers, inspiring stuff, life coaching stuff, NYC, and musical theater geekiness. I have a lot of conversations. I’m a RTer too, so if you post something cool I’ll help you get it out there.
Oh. And if you’re new to Twitter? You’re so gonna wanna go here.
