Group Session: Operation: When I Grow Up!
Are you are looking to find a new career that you can be passionate about - something that's in-line with your values, your priorities, your strengths, and your interests? Do you want to wake up in the morning & whistle while you (get ready for) work instead of waking up with a knot in your stomach and a lead foot? Yeah, I know how it is. I've dry heaved into a subway trash can on my way to work, only to feel fine when I was back on the subway going home minutes later. Gross, but true.
In Operation: When I Grow Up!, we'll be able to:
discover your values
find your work & personal priorities
pinpoint your interests
name not only your strengths, but how much you like using them (because, let's face it, doing something you're good at that you hate doing sucks the big one)
create different combinations of your strengths & your interests to find new fields that you haven't thought of before
find new ways to research various careers so you know what's involved before you jump in
get insight to how your personality type can offer clues into your passionate career
But don't get me wrong - it's not like we're going to be working from a textbook here. Throughout our 12 weekly sessions, we're going to create action plans for each and every one of you. As someone who found life coaching in a class with a dozen other random people (whose only common goal was to find a new career), I can honestly say that we have so much to learn from each other. With such a small group, everyone will have a chance to speak up during each & every session. If you don't believe me, check out my group coaching testimonials! Here's a sample:
"Every group coaching session was fun and energizing, even when all four of us showed up feeling like basketcases! No matter how rough the week, Thursday night had the magical power to lift us all up. Temporary feelings of loserhood shriveled, and with renewed confidence we hashed out concrete tasks to keep the momentum going for another seven days. Instead of just knowing my own story - the anxieties, roadblocks, and triumphs - I had the privilege of witnessing three more. Now that these group sessions are behind me, I am realizing how much I dip into those other stories, searching for and finding solutions, strategies, hope, and inspiration. By the end of the sessions I had developed a new professional dream, a personal mission statement to guide it, and an action plan to make it a reality. Many thanks to my Fairy Godmother, Michelle!" - Faith, California
Here's the plan: 12 weekly hour-long phone sessions at 8p Eastern every Monday from March 1 through May 17, 2010 . The session will be limited to just 4 people, so everyone is guaranteed (guaranteed!) to personally participate in every session. As a bonus, I'm going to throw in a private social networking site so that the participants have a place to meet, mingle, share & grow 24/7. Every session will also be recorded & posted on our private site, available for listening as often as you'd like until infinity & beyond. The investment for you is only $39/session & is payable via PayPal in weekly installments. Yeah, I know. It's awesome.
Registration closes on Wednesday, Feb 24th & anyone that signs-up prior to Feb 17th gets the May 17th session on the house! If you're on the fence, then schedule your free 30-minute consultation call. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have and/or burp on cue for ya! Either way, it's a win-win.
