Wonderful (Links) Wednesday!

Sausage dog change purse by angharad. It’s LINKS people…like sausages…get it?! Yeah, I know, I’ll go back to The Catskills where I belong.
For those of you readers who’ve been around for a while, you know that my weekly series, Freakin’ (Great Links) Friday, was a staple on the When I Grow Up Blog for 24 installments. 6 months in blogger time is like a whole year in dog years! Well, my last installment was on April 24th, when I reassesed what the heck I wanted to do with this blog, and also asked all y’all what you wanted to see here. While some of you liked the links, it wasn’t the reason why you paid me a visit. So, when I decided to drop a serious, I laid Freakin’ (Great Links) Friday to rest.
But it doesn’t mean I want to stop giving out the link love, as there are so many links out there to love! I’ve been wanting to have a monthly series, but that hasn’t happened yet. Well, I’m starting…now! The last week of every month, I’ll have the links I’ve loved for that month. Because there’ll be more of them than usual, I’m gonna just let the titles do the talkin’.
Since this edition contains 3 months of links (oy to the vey), I limited myself to my favorite 25. Here they be, in no particular order – but don’t think it was easy!:
- interview: aimee dolich & limiting beliefs on pecanoot
- Whip out the kleenex for the update on Jon the 23-year old ball player on Escape from Cubicle Nation
- Riding the Roller Coaster of Life & Letting Go of the Handle & Mojo Mondays: Write Your Personal Mission Statement on Owning Pink
- Dreams: What Would You Trade? & Shhhh…I’m Hunting Gwemlins! on More in You
- Boost Your Mojo By Identifying Your Natural Gifts on Owning Pink &, on a similar theme, Everything You’re Not on Rise of the Innerpreneur
- thoughts on true love by Kelly Rae Roberts
- If you want it…ask for it! & How to make action setting sustainable on Sunday Night Success
- 11 slightly scary ways to become a better you, notes to my 20 year old self, & 4 questions to shine light on your vocation on White Hot Truth
- You matter, on Seth Godin’s Blog
- I Am Here, on Swirly Girl
- Flying Girl Adapts to New Worlds, or Fish Lessons on Warrior Girl
- Building Your Career, One Brick at a Time on The Simple Dollar
- Are Artists Unhappier than Non-Artists? on The Happiness Project
- Breaking Out of a Creative Rut & Working Through Creative Fear on {A}
- Dialoguing with Your Inner Critic on Creative Every Day
- pick a bleu mango on artsyville
- 3 Essential Ingredients for Creating Unconventional Success on a beautiful ripple effect
I can honestly say, though, that my favorite post of possibly the entire year was featured right here by my guest blogger, Emma Alvarez Gibson. If you haven’t already, read her touching and inspiring posts, Elimination Dance: Part 1 & Elimination Dance: Part 2. I know that they’ll resonate with each and every one of you who’s still trying to figure out who they want to be when they grow up.

My pleasure, Paige! I’ll definitely be doing this the last week of every month. I’m also going to do better with tweeting the links, so you’ll probably see them there first!
