If it was 2011, I would know that I was successful in this goal if coaching was not only my full-time job, but a lucrative one with no worry when/how the next $ would come in. I’d be coaching one-on-one & in groups both in person and on the phone, reaching as many people as I possibly could. I think my book would be in the works, too….maybe with an agent or a publisher behind it. Hmm.

Maybe I should start focusing on writing that book!

    Ooohhhh…good one Michelle!

First, love the fortune cookie necklace. So cute!

Next, if it were May 2011 I would know that I was successful if I was successfully running my coaching business with many accomplished contacts, referrals, and amazing clients. I would be running weekly workshops for young people looking to create a fulfilling personal and professional life. I would also be working with other successful coaches running leadership and life balance programs for women.
My home office would be decorated very classy, with nice wondow treatments (I’m currently working on this).

I love that you put the window treatments in there! It was so cute & it made me laugh, so thank you Paige!

Ain’t the necklace cute? Love how you can personalize the fortune. I want mine to say, “You will kick ass & take names.”

I hope you remember my number when looking to team up with successful coaches! I’ve love to do something like that with you – we’d have a ridiculous amount of fun.

I’ll know I’m successful in 2011 if I’m working just one job, full-time as an Instructional Designer- making enough money not just to pay the bills, but to save. I’ll also be working towards (if not already finished) with my Masters of Education in ID.

  5. Jeremie Miller Says:

I will know I have reached my goal in May of 2011 if I have just finished a great mountain bike ride, rode up to my home somewhere in South America where we have moved so my wife can teach (her goal), my son has just had a great play day in Spanish, and I have a few hours to clean up, play with my son, check the forums on my action setting community I lead, then get ready to take a few calls from my clients before getting up to do it all over again the next day.

    I also have a Playstation 3.

Megan – Our goals are so similar, despite the difference in our chosen fields. You can definitely lean on me for support!

Jeremie – South America?! Super cool. You might want to wait until those damn pigs calm down, though….

Oh I’ve missed your blog! Offline life is not as fun! Can’t believe you want to write a book after watching me :) . Oh, the stories I can tell you!

Hmmm, in 2 years, I will be a newlywed – married to the most incredible man in the entire universe (my universe — yes I have my own in 2 years). I will be incredibly happy doing whatever that may be and surrounded by my family and friends.

  10. admin Says:

Can I live in Carolyn Universe? That place will have the cutest office supplies & the most inspiring artwork!

I love the simplicity of your answer – having you know that being married to Ben & surrounded by family & friends leads to you being incredibly happy. There is so much in that.

Online world has missed you, too! Come back when you’ve kicked your finals asses!

  11. Mariss Says:

Great question and idea! I think you’ll reach those goals in 2 years :) Hmmm, mine personally, I’ll be working at a residential design firm focusing on sustainability, a newlywed too like Carolyn above, and doing illustration on the side :)

  12. admin Says:

Thanks Mariss! I know that you’ll reach your goals, too. And yay to being a newlywed! I’m only now & it’s awesome.
