Have your significant other say these words to you right after you shut the alarm and open your eyes:

“I love you.”

Not “Hello.” Not “Good morning.” Not “You farted on my leg in your sleep.” Just:

“I love you.”

It’s been with me all day, and never have I felt so alert and energized in the morning.
