Tough (Question) Tuesday: Why should I break this bad habit?

Think about the bad habit you’ve been trying to shed. It can be something tangible, like picking at your fingers, or something that’s an attribute, like lack of focus.

Now, forget about the “how”, like how you’re going to go about accomplishing this. Instead, ask yourself:

Why should I break this bad habit?

As per usual, I’ll post my answer in the comments section.

So WHY should I break the habit of picking my fingers? Let me count the ways:
    1. It’s gross
    2. It looks gross
    3. It (sometimes) hurts me
    4. It makes others nervous/anxious (at least this is what Luke tells me)
    5. I’m a 30 year old woman, for Pete’s sake!
    6. I would need to spend less money on manicures
    7. It makes me appear nervous/anxious/fidgety/a myraid of other bad un-pulled-together words

That’s all for now. I’ll keep adding as more appear to me post-1st cup of coffee.
