Thanks Ellen! I'm really glad to hear that you found my video helpful and inspiring! As I make my journey, I'm really trying to stay honest to others about what I'm experiencing so people like you know that you aren't alone. We ALL struggle, some folks may not just talk about it as much, right?

That was a fabulous video. I will be watching that again because it is inspiring and filled with wonderful advice. I appreciate her honesty anout in the beginning of her journey not knowing what she wanted and never painting before to voila-a artist that is selling her work. I could listen to more of her story, even hearing about her baby steps. Great video, really spoke to me!

@iHanna: thanks so much! I'm glad you liked the video. I think that for me, the baby steps didn't really feel like much forward movement at all…until I looked back and saw how they all lined up to make a really giant leap! So maybe don't try to take the baby steps, but just do things naturally and make sure that you just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

@Erin: you are so sweet! thank you. I suppose I did name it and claim it. And now I'm doing my absolute best to live it. And I have my struggles, but I think that when I look at where I am today, compared to where I was two years ago, I am so much happier now, even with the struggles. And that's really important for me to remember. And don't let that blank page scare you! One of the things I think about now is how excited I actually get when I realize how much I have to learn — it's a fun thing for me, instead of what it used to be, a super scary thing!

Tiffany – I knew the painting was relatively new, but I had no idea you just started to paint in February! Can I say it again? I think you are amazing!! I so connect with what you're saying here – i really like the part about working quickly and taking baby steps. I am afraid of a blank page right now, so this was really inspiration to hear you talk about how you went from an idea to actually doing it in 4 months. I've been working on goals this week and the author said 'you have to name it to claim and claim it to live it'. And you named it, claimed and are living it!

What a sweet video of a sweet sincere woman giving great advice! I too think about baby steps and want to take them – but sometimes even those are hard to take.
