Hello my lovely readers!

I have a small and painless request (I think!). Y’see, I started advertising on blogs like a real live grown-up woman of the world/business owner, & while I love the sites where my badge blinks brightly (currently, at Kind Over Matter, Kelly Rae Roberts & The Bright Side Project), I’d love to find, well, more peeps like you! While I think I kinda sorta know what your go-to blogs/magazines are, I know what happens when you assume…..so I figured I’d ask!

If you can kindly let me know in the comments what your go-to, can’t-miss blogs and/or mags are and whether you read ‘em by visiting or by subscription (whether via email or RSS), I would supercalifragiouslisticexpealidosciously thank you.

I really appreciate the help!

Michelle, great question, gonna link to this post on our Friday Love List — as I am very curious myself! :)

If I don't get time to read any other blogs during the day I will at least pop on & read these & then play catch with the rest of my favs throughout the week:

    Creature Comforts

    Scoutie Girl

White Hot Truth – I subscribe to WHT because she doesn't update daily, when I get her email I hop right on over to her site to read the post though. :)

Thanks so much again for your continued support – you make me smile so huge! xox

    Besides your's of course, there's WhiteHotTruth.com, TheFluentSelf.com, JamieRidlerStudios.ca, Stratejoy.com, Lifeblazing.com…just to name a few.

  3. Louise Curtis Says:

Donald Miller Is, Steff Metal, Yes and Yes, Sarah Wilson, and A Cat of Impossible Colour are my favourites this week.

@Amanda – Thanks so much for including me in your Friday's Lovelies post! I'll send you the results next week. FYI, it seems we're in the same places! I advertised on Creature Comforts last month, follow Danielle religiously & had a brainstorming session with Tara just a week or so ago! No wonder we get along :)

@Alisha & @Louise – Thanks for your responses! So, so helpful.

here's a few more – wish studio, decor8 or sfgirlbybay. I'm sure that you have thought of those…but just in case you haven't…. :) A lot of the other blogs I frequent were listed above. xo

I read grocerycouponguide.com, savingadvice.com has a blog I read. Pioneer Woman's stuff. (I read all five sections, but you might do best to do targeted ones. For example, you might want to focus on her Photography section, but not Confessions or Homeschooling. Don't know, and I don't even know if you can target it.) In the same vein as Pioneer Woman, I read her cooking spin-off site's blog Tasty Kitchen.

    I read Cooking Issues blog.

I read smallnotebook, which I have seen you comment on. However, I only read it on my smartphone, which somehow manages not to show her ads to me.

I read Blogging Away Debt, which I don't think shows ads (or not many). I read Windy City Blues (same as BAD).

I also read a few comics that do ads, but I somehow doubt they reach the audience you're looking for. Feel free to e-mail me if you want more comments on that.

And, to be totally honest, I run adblock, so I don't know who does and doesn't do ads. So I may not be the best person to look to.

Thanks for your responses, everyone! I'm psyched to start digging into new places to advertise & being introduced to new, kick-ass blogs along the way!
