Great Giveaway #1: Effervescence Photography, Tara Sroka Designs & Painted Laydies!
Welcome to Day 1 of the Great(est) Giveaway my blog has ever seen, in honor of my 2nd Blogiversary (tomorrow)! Thank you, thank you, please, please, be seated, no really, thanks so much, OK, aw, you guys are the best!, OK, really, sit down, sit down.
What a wonderful welcome! And I’m excited too. Every day for this entire week I’m gonna have a package of products (yes, that means more than 1!) featured, all of which will go to that day’s winner. Each giveaway will be open for entries until 6/8, & I’ll use random.org to announce all the winners on my blog on 6/9. Fun, right?! I know! I also love knowing that I can say, “And the envelope please!” 5 separate times on the 9th. I always wanted to do that.
So without further adieu, here are the nominees the sponsors of Great Giveaway #1!

You can find Kylie tweeting, food blogging, website-ing & Etsy-ing it up. She’ll also be with me at Blog Out Loud 6 sponsoring a giveaway! Is she about spreading the love or what?

You can find Painted Laydies & it’s owner Jenn Brockman (she tests all the make-up on herself first, she since has a chemical sensitivity – which is why she founded Painted Laydies in the first place!) on their website & Facebook. And yes, Mom, you’re eligible for this giveaway (my Mom loves mineral make-up almost as much as she loves her own children. Almost).

The process is simple – simply select the art work you want in your book and send it to Tara via photos by email or snail mail. Tara’ll take care of all the design elements and create a 20 page bound 7×9 soft cover book for you to keep for many years to come (a $75 value that can go, instead, towards a scrapbook of your choice). What a great way to preserve and prevent your children’s artwork from getting lost, damaged, thrown away or creating clutter! You can find Tara on her website, Facebook & in the twitterverse.
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it super amazeballs that all these women combined their passion(s) and/or their challenges to create these incredible businesses? So, in order to enter the Great Giveaway #1, submit your comment that answers the following question:
If you had to create a business based on your passions/challenges, what would you do?
You have until 6/8 at 11:59p Eastern to enter with your comment for this & every Great Giveaway this week (1 entry per Giveaway per person)! Winners will be announced on 6/9, but don’t forget to come back tomorrow to enter Great Giveaway #2 with prizes from The Whole Self, Everything Little Miss & Amethyst Cottage!

I already have started out!
I was a software engineer, but I migrated to a beautiful country lately causing me to quit my day job. And now I can experiment with my passion–writing. I absolutely love to pour writing and convert it to tangible words. I currently freelance from home and it is perfect. Each passing day is a leap through creativity and play of words! I must say, I am doing pretty well too!

I would start a small specialized nursery business – an heirloom flower or vegetable perhaps. Maybe an herb. Something to do with gardening on a small scale. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win! Love Tara's designs and mineral makeup! And though I've just now heard of Kylie Springman, her photography is Fantastic!
