This was a great interview, and a story that you don't hear too often. Usually in interviews the person had some lucky break and was able to make it big in their career, you know, the rags-to-riches kind of story. Jen's story of "aby steps and achieving small (but not insignificant) successes" is unique, and I love her positive attitude.

Holy Moly! This is a great interview! There's so much wisdom here—I have also learned that you need to accept that you will make crappy work as part of the process in order to make the good work! I also just love the way Jen talks about money and work, etc. Awesome!

Great interview! The line that "my art comes first when it comes to my spending" was my I-just-read-what-I-needed-to-read-today moment, my whoa! moment.
