Most people talk about The Best as it’s this known, established Fact. The Best Actor of our generation? Sean Penn. Or Robert Downey Jr. Or Heath Ledger. Or Sasha Baron Cohen…..or…..
Acknowledging the fact that being The Best is totally subjective, & chucking all sense of ego out the window, answer this tough question:
Why are you The Best?

Isn't this so scary to proclaim to the world? I'm nervous about putting my awesomeness out there & owning it. But this is called Tough (Question) Tuesday for a reason!
I'm The Best because:
* I help people to find their passionate career, follow the trail & get it!
* I'm an optimist (finally!)
* I bring a sense of humor & fun & energy to pretty much everything I do
* I overly care. Sometimes it's a burden, but it makes me The Best in a few different ways
* I'm not afraid of my uniquity. Not when I was 9 & wore 2 different socks & 2 different shoes to school daily, & not now.
* I'm inspirational. Now that's scary, but I know it's come from a few different mouths so there must be some truth to it!
* My inability to settle. That new book, "Marry Him: The Case for Settling for Mr. Good Enough" makes me want to find the author & anyone who's reading it & give them a real good shake.
* My open energy & friendliness. I think it puts people at ease & always allows me to have a good time & interesting conversation almost wherever I go.
* My self-motivation. If I want something, I'm going to make it happen. I only sleep late on weekends!

This is super scary! Here goes, I'm gonna toot my own horn.
I'm The Best because:
- I refuse to give up on the idea that I can make a living through art photography
- My environmental science background means that my nature photographs are full of meaning
- I was apparently ahead of the curve with the whole natural history trend, and I am psyched about that
- I am quiet and observant and, well, that's a good place to be for a photographer!
Great question – thinking about it, I believe it will help me define how I should be spending my energy and resources to fuel creativity and be a powerhouse of productivity, instead of grinding away at a "job".

Ha, so fun Michelle! Thanks for asking this and for kicking it off with a great list!
I'm The Best because:
- I am caring and am able to selflessly care about others' success
- I can look at things from other people's perspective even when I don't agree with them
- I am intuitive and I can sense things about others which can help me draw them out or comfort them
- I am willing to admit when I'm wrong
- I have a good eye for design and decorating
- I approach life with creativity and curiosity
It's really different to openly share what I see as my strengths…I agree with Diana that it's a good reminder of where to spend energy and time.

It gives me butterflies in my tummy to think about putting this answer into words.
I'm the Best because:
- I am able to "roll with it." I don't fret or get worked up over things I have no control over.
- I have no regrets. And I try to encourage those around me to not have regrets. All my experiences and decisions (good, bad or otherwise) have made me the person I am today. And while there are things about myself I want to change, I like me and I wouldn't change a thing about what got me here.
- I bring calm. I've had many friends tell me that I have a calmness about me that makes me easy to be around.

{ I radiate confidence, even when I have no clue what I'm doing … }
{ I will absolutely ask questions, especially when I have no clue what I'm doing … }
{ I can discuss Ayn Rand, RuPaul and Rumi all in the same breath, and with equal enthusiasm … }
{ I do not fawn over celebrities / bosses / people in positions of power, but simply treat them with the same courtesy and respect that I would anyone else … }
{ I am mentally seductive and very persuasive … }
{ I have a way with words … }
{ I have a strong personal aesthetic … }

I'm the best because….
- I love in really big ways.
- I figured out I like me enough to want my own happiness.
- Priorities are something I use to decide what happens each day.
- I see moments behind the lens that I want to eat with a spoon and savor like cream cheese frosting.
- I make a mean Chicken Sorrentino and a lasagna.
- I can find a pacifier in the pitch black.
- I finally like me. A lot.
