For weeks, I've had the following message at the top of my blog: "WordPress 2.8.4 is available! Please update now." I know I can just press the magic button, but my smart husband told me that he wouldn't recommend doing this without backing up my files. Oh, it looks like WordPress agrees! "Important: before upgrading, please backup your database and files." Now, Luke did this for me before, & I think I watched, but I have no recollection as to how to do this, & am relying on him & his availability to do this for me. If I don't take action, I run the risk of getting blog bugs & non-working widgets & other such headaches. If I just press the magic button without backing up my files, I can wipe out my blog with nary a record in sight! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!
I think I need to make a date with Luke so he can show me how to do this. I'll write down the instructions & everything.
