Tough (Question) Tuesday: What would you most like to pretend to be?

“Just Imagine” can be purchased from thedreamygiraffe.
For those who are new in class, I adore me some Kelli Rae Roberts. Her book, her blog, her artwork…..she’s creative and inspiring and just seems to have her crap together, ya know?
Kelli Rae wrote a wonderful post last month that asked,
What would you most like to pretend to be?
Now it’s your turn. Think of those key words, those adjectives, that most excite you, that you most strive for. Better yet, act like you don’t strive for them. Act like you are them. And then join me in the comments section by sharing those words.
You can read all of the Tough (Question) Tuesday installments here.

When I started a sales job years ago, I had a great manager who had the team meet every morning & set out 5 attributes for the day: confident, cheerful, attentive, positive, etc. It was so hippy-dippy at the time, yet so powerful. By choosing my attribute for that particular day I was able to sculpt my day into being who I wanted to be. It made it that much easier to pick up the phone and start my cold/warm calls.
So, what would I most like to pretend to be now? Fearless. Focused. Balanced. Reassured. I would like to brainstorm to find when I can make time for me and what I could do in that time, and then do it. Breaking down my Big Goals into little ones, and taking them step by step. Working on one task at a time. Visualizing what my life would be like when I become a full-time coach, and bringing up those thoughts when I become doubtful or scared. Growing my Positivity notebook, full of good things that others have said about me.
I'm going to start pretending right now.

Can I just say "Wolverine's girlfriend"?
No?
Okay. Welll… "motivated, organized, focused, fearless."
That's my imagination and I'm sticking to it.

Who said you can't say "Wolverine's girlfriend"? I mean, Hugh Jackman's wife won't mind!

It IS imagination, after all…

(Whining) "OOOOOOhhhhh, this is haaaaaard…"
Unencumbered. I'm getting better at unloading encumbrances (many of which really belonged to other people all along), but when I look at my "to do" list, I still wonder – what would happen if I said "to heck with this."
So, if I pretended to be completely un-burdened, as appealing as it is… I don't know. I feel like my life would unravel.
This gives me something to think about. Maybe I can try it a few hours at a time.

As a To Do List addict myself, I'd love to see where that exercise takes you. If the world ends though, I know who to blame!
